​In 2017 I fell down a flight of stairs.  At that time, I broke a rib on the left side.  Fast forward to 2018, I started having stabbing, burning pain in my stomach cavity.  After months of going to the doctor she suggested going to physical therapy with Todd. Within 3 sessions the pain had improved immensely.  Now after 12 sessions I am completely able to sleep through the night and resume normal activity.

When I first came to Freedom Physical Therapy, I was in extreme pain with sciatica pain. This pain began as soon as I awoke from a total knee replacement. The pain at times was unbearable.  My therapist, Dr. Todd Pollock, worked tirelessly throughout my sessions to alleviate the pain I was experiencing. He was extremely knowledgeable, skillful, courteous, concerned, and caring. I will be forever grateful for the care he gave and for getting me back on my feet. I wish to thank Shawna Cooper and Freedom Physical Therapy for the professional, personal, and effective care I received in May, June, and July of 2019. I entered therapy with knee and hip pain that hampered my daily activities and made climbing stairs or walking uphill nearly impossible. Under Shawna’s guidance, I learned exercises and ways of moving that gradually diminished the pain, and I expect the pain will diminish more as I continue the program on my own. I am particularly impressed with Shawna’s questioning and listening skills, her willingness to explain what was going on, and her friendly, upbeat attitude.
The office is a pleasant and positive place to visit, starting with the friendly reception offered by Joy and the other personnel, and extending to the cleanliness and comfort of the waiting area, treatment rooms, and exercise room. If I need PT again, I will ask to be referred to Freedom Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation.

I came to Freedom Physical Therapy with severe lower back pain and right leg pain. I had previously been to back and spine specialists who referred me to their choice of therapists.
After four months of unsuccessfully doing their exercises, with no pain relief in either my back or leg I left... I went back to my Primary Doctor who referred me to Dr. Todd Pollock at Freedom Physical Therapy (FPT). After Dr. Pollock’s excellent evaluation of my back and leg, and following his three months of therapy, I’m no longer having any pain in either my back or leg. This was all accomplished in less than three months. I am forever grateful for the care I received at FPT, and would highly recommend FPT to anyone with physical therapy issues.

My left arm brought me to FPT. After a fall, I had assumed a Napoleon-like pose because of limited mobility AND because doing normal things with my arm was difficult and painful. The diagnosis was impingement. I chose FPT because of Todd’s great reputation in the community.
It was my first experience with PT and I really had no idea what to expect. Myofascial therapy was a term that was new to me. Ben Morris, the new guy, was my PT. His patience, willingness to answer questions and to explain my treatment in terms that I could understand were helpful and inspired me to work harder on MY part of the therapy that took place at home.
When I reach for my seatbelt or put a shirt on over my head, I am very grateful. These simple actions were not possible to do prior to my treatment.  
Thanks to the whole team at Freedom Physical Therapy. The first face I encountered most days was Joy- and she truly is. FPT also has a great reminder service and that meant I didn’t miss a single appointment. 
If I ever need PT again, I will choose FPT and highly recommend you to others.

I had a compression fracture of my tibia bone at the femur and I was shown very doable techniques to allow me to stay off my leg for 8 weeks. I first went to Freedom Physical Therapy two years ago for treatment for hip pain. When no progress was being made, my therapist referred me back to my primary care giver. Examinations and x-rays showed I needed a hip replacement. After surgery, I returned to Freedom Physical Therapy for 8 weeks of effective therapy sessions. My therapist’s explanations of what was happening to my body as it tried to recover from surgery helped me focus my efforts and endure what were often painful therapy sessions. Freedom Physical Therapy helped me regain my strength and range of motion ahead of schedule. My doctor was pleased.

I was in a car accident 6 years ago, which left me with a back injury. The pain increased in my back without activity. The headaches increased in intensity as well as frequency. After 2ndmassive should surgery on June 26, 2017, I was experiencing pain and limited ROM when I began PT. After PT sessions pain is close to being completely gone with no need for pain medication. Range of motion has improved to 100% of what it was from pre-surgery, with the exception of external rotation. Strength is rebuilding and should improve with routine home exercise and time. Thank you!!

I started my treatment with Freedom Physical Therapy roughly four months ago. I was the victim of a vicious vehicle collision at the beginning of the year. After more than twelve x-rays, two MRIs, and a recommendation to see a spine specialist, I met with my physical therapist to treat the injuries I sustained.
I was honestly skeptical at first, having zero experience with, as well as having never heard of the method of treatment that I came to Freedom PT twice a week to receive. As the weeks and appointments continued, my pain and difficulty persisted but slowly began declining with each of my visits, and exercises I performed in my own time.
By my final three or four visits it was obvious to my physical therapist and myself that my treatment was quite successful. My difficulty, pain and overall outlook had vastly improved. I am very thankful to Freedom Physical Therapy! With their immense help I feeling better than I did in over half a year and am able to live every day feeling confident in my physical activities- whether at work or play!

When I first started PT I had an inflamed IT band. My left knee was swollen, tight and I was having pain. I had lost some Flexion of my knee since my TKR. Todd was able to break up the scar tissue, enabling my patella to start moving and the skin around my scar to loosen. I was extremely pleased and amazed how much increased flexion that I have gained. Todd’s ability to explain and teach as he is doing therapy is excellent. He is sensitive to my level of discomfort during therapy and is frequently checking to see how well I am tolerating it. Some of the exercises were out of my comfort zone but I trusted his judgment and felt safe. Todd along with his staff is professional and friendly. That environment, office, treatment rooms and staff are welcoming and comfortable. I would highly recommend Freedom PT especially after a TKR.  I only wish that I had come sooner.

I could not walk up the slightest incline without pain. I had to go up & down stairs one leg at a time. My lower back, hip and right leg had constant, sometimes excruciating pain whether I was sitting, standing or walking. I was a mess physically and it wearing me down mentally and emotionally. When I was referred to Todd my lifestyle of activity was limited by pain in my knee. Hiking, biking, hunting, even doing yardwork and cutting wood was not the enjoyable experience it once was. Upon the first visit Todd assured me that I can get all that back and I am too young to have surgery as an option. The visits were uncomfortable physically at times but I know it was temporary as I learned how to do exercises on my own. And a nice sauna after therapy helped heal even faster. The knowledge I gained about myself through Todd’s therapy helped me understand and gain insight on how to remain healthy. Foremost he was interested in me being a whole person. My physical therapy treatments with Shawna began because of shoulder pain that an MRI showed were labral tears and a bicep tendon tear. I had nerve pain and sharp pains with normal daily movements. My range of motion was limited and performing single tasks, such as shampooing my hair, were painful. I also heard snapping or popping sounds, and I had an over-all feeling of tightness in my arm. After 6 weeks of PT, I have virtually no pain and my range of motion is close to 100%. At each therapy session, Shawna did a lot of hands-on soft tissue work and showed me exercises to do at home. She stressed that correct posture is important and she was always so encouraging. Shawna’s magic touch and the exercises she gave me were the right combination needed so I could be free of the pain in my shoulder and arm. I am very happy with the results. Thanks to Shawna and to the entire team at Freedom Physical Therapy for making this a good experience.

When I came to Freedom Physical Therapy in November, I was experiencing right leg pain that had persisted and worsened for several months. I also had low back and hip discomfort that I had just learned to manage for several years, which was worsened by sitting and driving. A few months after an accident I began experiencing constant pain and discomfort in my neck, shoulders, mid and lower back. Every activity was painful. Just as an example; I would have to reposition myself fire or six times just to get out of bed. When I arrived at Freedom PT my elbow hurt so much I was limited in what I could do. I love to swim and it was being compromised. I also was not able to lift a cup of tea without feeling my elbow hurt. It ached a lot. Shawna felt a lot of my problem stemmed from my poor posture and past shoulder injuries that prevented me from using my entire arm correctly. Consequently, my elbow would take a lot of the strain. Shawna not only treated the pain in my elbow, she instructed me in how to have better posture. All of this to aid in the prevention of further injuries. The pain in my elbow is greatly decreased. It no longer aches and I am able to use it much more. It has been said, “Those who hold the pain of others, hold the power to heal”. I believe that both Shawna and Todd are healers. It hurt to jog, in fact I couldn’t jog from the car to the store (50 feet) without considerable pain in my right cheek (bum). After 6 sessions with Todd, I’m good for distance jogging. Still hurts a little if I sit on hard chairs but way less than before. Unfortunately, I’m headed South for a while so I have to suspend treatment.

Intense swallowing difficulties; pain in throat, face and jaw. Having had a history of a failed stomach tube, I knew I had to release the swallowing difficulties with a method that would help me regain this. When I first came to see Dr. Todd, my mobility was severely impaired. I was in severe pain and walked with a significant limp. After an in-depth assessment, I received education on the physiology of my condition, treatment, and follow up with strength and flexibility training. When I came in to see Dr. Pollock, I was unaware of activities and exercises that I was doing could be causing pain, in turn being counter-productive to my progress. He helped show me exercises as well as form to prevent further injury…. Dr. Pollock was an excellent communicator in going through every reason and explanation of movement, exercises and success. I was able to understand and comprehend easily why my pain was happening, along with how to bypass that and turn the movement into a non-painful, productive one. I am very grateful for my time with him in being able to go forward with productive knowledge and exercises for the future. Instead of blindly doing the exercises, I now know correct form and how it will affect my muscles for the most positive outcome and successful workout possible.

… I was in severe pain due to my “frozen shoulder” or adhesive capsulitus. I was unable to sleep well, dressing was hard, showering or household chores were very difficult, working in my yard or doing anything I enjoyed. I spent many hours on my couch with ice just to ease the pain. Any abrupt movement or hitting my arm on anything would just cause me to double over in pain. When I first arrived to see Shawna, I was in constant pain every day. Working was hard, and I couldn’t do any of the recreational things I loved to do. I was having back spasms and tightness in the upper left region of my back. The spasms quite a few times caused me to buckle to the ground and last for minutes. Upon my first appointment with Shawna I discovered my poor posture was a factor. I also had limited movement in areas that should have had more movement and flexibility. The physical therapy and at home exercises increased my movement and helped my posture thus reducing my pain and spasms to minimal to none. The physical therapy also helped improve and maximize my gym workouts to perform better. I was very appreciative for all Shawna did to help.

Came in following a right total knee replacement. I was unable to lift my leg or bear weight at that time. I had a great deal of pain and was taking Percocet. Now I can walk up and down stairs. When I first came here I had a lot of unknown circulatory and postural issues. My hands and arms would go numb and tingle with the slightest of movement and lifting. I started seeing Todd four months for pain, weakness, numbness and tingling from my upper left ribs and shoulder to my fingers. I’ve been dealing with this for over 30 years and the past few have become significantly worse, interfering with my daily functioning as a mother, wife, business owner, and active community member. The body is so intricately and wonderfully made that pain and problems can’t be pinpointed to just one spot normally. He was able to unbind years of irritated fascia in my neck, ribs and back that have been prohibiting me from functioning at 100%. Instead of numbness arriving within 5 seconds, it takes 40 seconds or longer and in some areas, it is completely gone. Not only has Todd attained fascial release but has also taught me lifelong skills for posture, stretching and muscle tone that should put me on track for minimal pain for the rest of my life. My left knee was in moderate pain on a regular basis and my calf was very tight which restricted my ability to walk easily, especially up and down stairs. Now I can lie down and roll from side to side which I’ve always done in order to get comfortable without the pain streaking through my arm…. Coming to you, my days were often filled with neck muscle tightness and headaches that frequently woke me at night. While I could fall asleep, I would often awake with my arms, one or both, feeling tingly or completely “asleep”…. After just the first visit, I was pretty much free of the headaches and felt a freedom of movement through my mid-section…. I love sleeping at night, more freedom of movement, more days of pain free movement. Thank you so much for this treatment process! After my back surgery (Jan 2016) I needed therapy that would get me back on track as soon and simply as possible. Since I would not take any pain meds after surgery I needed someone who would put my health and safety first. I knew I would have pain so I needed someone who would feel my pain and help me through it as if it was their pain as well— Todd Pollock filled that need— Todd helped me back to good health and through the pain very gently. His explanation of what and why he was doing was on my level and that helped me work thru it. Also, at the same time I was in therapy for my back, I was having trouble with my left hip. Todd went to work also finding I had a vascular problem. Through his diagnosis, I was able to go on and get that fixed as well. Now, I am doing great with my back and my hip is fixed as well and I am doing great. I can’t say enough good about Todd and his ability to not only help those he treats, but his sincere want and passion to help those who seek treatment. Todd is sincere in business and heart and I am so grateful for Todd.

I started at approximately 4 months post partial knee replacement. I was just off crutches prior to first visit. Because of severe pain in left knee and leg after about 5 P.T. treatments including Electro shock therapy I experienced great release of tension and pain and improvement of strength and flexibility. Dr. Pollock is very knowledgeable and professional, communicating in a clear and friendly manner. I would highly recommend Freedom Physical Therapy!

I went from using a walker/cane (walker > cane) daily for almost all activities to hardly needing either of them now. My reconstructed hip’s range of motion improved greatly as did my balance. In summary, I am way better than when I started physical therapy less than a month ago. Todd Pollock, DPT, is an exceptional and gifted therapist who helped me tremendously. I was extremely concerned how I would recover from shoulder surgery.  I wanted a full return to an active, strenuous lifestyle.  I was surprised at how early therapy started.  I felt confident on day 1 that I was moving forward.  Great protocol for self-motivated recovery, followed the procedures and weaned off of visits to clinic.  100% recovery, ready to “abuse” my body some more.

When I first started coming to physical therapy under a month ago, I was in bad shape.  Pained all day during normal daily activities.  When I would lay down to go to sleep, my back pain would be indescribable.  It would keep me up or wake me up in the night.  I was waking up so sore, I had to take hot baths in the morning and relax my muscles to go about with my day.  Now that I have participated in physical therapy, my back is feeling great and I am no longer feeling pained when I wake up.  I have learned lessons to carry with me the rest of my life; to live a healthy and happy one!

After my knee replacement surgery my knee did not want to bend at all.  It hurt greatly if I forced it. 
Now about a month later and two sessions a week every week of that month it bends!  Todd was a big help, he was never forceful.  He knows how to work around the pain and still is able to remove the pain and the reason for it.  He is also very understanding and caring about your discomfort.
My knee now bends 127 degrees and that is a very good bend!

For 15+ years I have had chronic pain.  Thru the years I have been to physical therapy and many specialists, to no avail.  The therapy did me more harm than good.  I had been on Hydrocodone 10mg. 4x/day for 15 plus years.
Several years ago I went to Todd for another ailment, we started talking about my pain.  He said he has had great success with my type of pain and that was his specialty.  He explained the procedure and I decided to give it another try.  Sure enough, with each session the pain started to disappear.  He treated me thru a lot of the winter of 2013.  My summer of 2014 I was able to go halibut fishing for the first time in years.  I also did a little dipping for Reds.
Once I was comfortable that the pain was not coming back, I started to decrease my pain medication and 7 months later I was off my pain meds and have not had any since.  I started gaining back a lot of strength, walking, and doing a lot more physical activities.  Now, the summer of 2015, I am on our boat every time we go halibut fishing, and also the deck hand for my fiancé.  We are now dip netting this summer out of our boat and having a great time.
I was very blessed that Todd was sent to me and made me whole again.
P.S….I also bought a bike and a treadmill.  Not bad for 72 years and counting.  Thank you Todd for giving me back my life.

Since going thru physical therapy/fascial manipulation with Todd Pollock, I no longer have daily pain in my knee.  Day after day I forget I even had knee pain.  I’m so happy I can keep getting out to walk/jog and not feel pain for days after!  Words are not enough to express my gratefulness!  Thank you Todd & Diane!

I have Juvenille Rhuematoid Arthritis and I was in pretty severe pain at my first appointment.  Todd was careful to not push me too far and create more pain, and he is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me a very significant amount.  My arthritis pain has decreased substantially and overall, my health has improved since I came to Freedom PT.  Todd and Diane are both wonderful and I absolutely recommend them and am very thankful/blessed to have had the opportunity to be a patient at Freedom.

I came in after suffering very painful back spasms and thought that it was a problem isolated to my back.  I was shocked to find that the tightness and pain I frequently felt in my hips, legs, and feet was directly related to my back pain.  After less than 5 sessions my whole body feels relaxed, and I’m walking away with skills to keep myself healthy and pain-free.  This was a great experience!

Before I came, my back pain was pretty extreme, and it prevented me from doing many different activities that I enjoy.  It affected my everyday life and was very problematic.  Since coming and seeing Todd, my pain has significantly decreased!  It has definitely made a huge difference in my daily life.  It was really helpful getting some tips and exercise movements to work on.  My personal and spiritual life was also very encouraged by Todd and his wife.  It was a blessing to come here, and I am very thankful for the difference it has made!

My left-side, lower back had constant pain in the S.I. joint area.  This has kept me from exercising the way I would like to for the last 5 years and from exercising at all this last year.  I have attended PT about once a week for 4 months and now feel almost completely free from back pain that has existed for over 10 years---pain I repeatedly saw chiropractors for with no relief.  I am in awe to learn about how the fascia was creating the pain.
I look forward to doing the exercises Todd taught me so I can improve my health on my own.

 In the beginning, my range of motion is nearly back to normal.  Todd has done an excellent job of working with me to make sure that I felt as good as possible after each appointment.  Todd was always happy to answer questions when asked and always tried to address every concern in the time available.  Overall I feel a lot better… Thank you!

When I first came to Freedom I was hurting in my range of motion on my right arm causing shoulder pain.  Now I am pain free.  My experience has been so very positive.  Absolutely was amazed at how great of a physical therapist Todd is.  He pegged my problem from the very beginning, gave me a plan of action and Walla – we have achieved it.  Oh how I appreciate that!  But more importantly to me is the connection I found in the unity of faith with Todd and Diane.  I am very thankful to know my physical therapist prays for me and knows Jesus Christ.

Since therapy I now do not have the sciatic pain down my left leg, I sleep the night through with no interruptions due to pain.  I can lift my left leg and can walk a mile a day.  My balance is improving week by week as well as my strengths.  I am now back to gardening, doing my housework and taking walks with my husband.  Once I get my right knee replaced I think that will complete it all.  I can’t say enough about how wonderful this therapy has been.  It has been directed toward my specific needs, the knowledge and skills are obvious as demonstrated in the fantastic results.  I highly recommend this service to everyone I talk to.  Excellent work, excellent attitude, wonderful people.  God bless!

Reaching the age of 70 and having two artificial hips I had concerns about balance, strength and flexibility.  I had experienced range of motion problems in my hips.
Dr. Pollock immediately put me at ease and by my 2nd appointment my mobility was increased and pain lessened.
Using easy and commonsense exercises I am now pain-free and feel more confident in my ability to keep my busy “retirement” schedule!

I was having horrible migraines, 2-3 times a day, with neck and back pain.  Now I have a mild headache every now and then with no back pain.  I have been feeling so much better at work and my everday life.  I enjoyed my appointments and feel as though something has finally impacted my head positively.  I have gone to many doctors and specialists for migraines and other than giving pain pills, nothing has helped.  I’m happy that they are not the only answer, because I refuse to take pain pills for the rest of my life.  Thank you so much and God Bless.

Before I came to see Todd I had pain all over, low back, neck, feet & shoulders.  In 5 sessions Todd worked through all of it; he lowered my pain to almost nothing!  He also taught me ways to strengthen myself and keep pain away.  I would recommend him to anyone.

Throughout my active and injury prone lifestyle I have come to the conclusion that finding a medical professional that truly focuses on their patient is hard to come by.  Todd wholeheartedly and passionately investigates his patients entire well being to best treat their issue(s).  He helped alleviate my pain and range of motion issues.  I sincerely believe Todd gives complete focus and attention to each and every patient he sees.  I would highly recommend Todd to anyone without hesitation.

When I first dislocated my knee I became extremely discouraged.  After a month of being pregnant and having my knee dislocate I wasn’t sure if I would be able to enjoy being my outdoorsy self for the next 9 months.  I am now 4 months pregnant and feel so much better and I am excited to get out and go walking, hiking, and biking thanks to Todd.  I mentally and physically feel better and now I am very excited about this pregnancy and recovery.  Thank you Todd! I came to Freedom Physical Therapy after knee replacement surgery.  My range of motion and other functions were severely limited.  I had considerable pain and scar tissue.  During treatment other issues from previous injuries presented themselves.  Todd was very thorough in tracking and treating each problem.  His patience, proficiency, and professionalism are outstanding!  He took the time to carefully explain each treatment along with the reason for it.  I am delighted with my care and treatment at Freedom Physical Therapy.  I highly recommend them without reservation!

When I came here I was walking with a cane to support my right leg.  I had constant pain in my neck and right shoulder.
Now I walk normal with no pain.  I can lift my arms above my head and turn my head both directions.

When I first came to see Todd I had been experiencing extreme wrist pain for 5 years.  My hands would swell and I wouldn’t even be able to use them sometimes.  I had seen many doctors and nobody had any answers until Todd.  He worked with me twice a week until my pain was gone.  He also taught me an invaluable lesson on how to keep it from coming back.  I am so pleased and will recommend him to all my friends and family.
